IntesaBCI unveils new structure (Financial Times)
The board of Italy’s largest bank, IntesaBCI, ha laid out a new structure for the bank and named four top managers – a month after Corrado Passera was installed as chief executive.
Three divisions – corporate, Italian retail and private – will be merged into one retail division, while director-general Roberto Brambilla, will oversee five units – legal affairs, accounting, controlling, risk management and control of the bank’s stakes in other companies. Among the new senior manager, Pier Francesco Saviotti – a former chief executive of Comit, one of the banks that formed IntesaBCI – will be in charge of lending.
Francesco Micheli, a former colleague of MR Passera at Poste Italiane, will be personnel director. Gaetano Miccichè will head the investment banking business. Stefano Lucchini will be head of external realtions.
